We are delighted to have been named a 5-star employer by employee engagement platform, WorkBuzz.

We began working with WorkBuzz – who conduct our annual employee surveys – in 2016.

The core objective of each survey is to understand from colleagues their views, and take subsequent action to become an “even better place to work.”

With new and improved initiatives in the workplace, the recent 2021 survey results saw sustained levels of high employee engagement and improvements across the key employee experience challenges, with some excellent gains across wellbeing, client satisfaction and communication.

The survey had an 89% - 90% response rate, with great responses from colleagues:

  • 91% are proud to work at Arbuthnot Latham
  • 93% (up 28%) feel the company considers the wellbeing of its employees
  • 86% (up 20%) agree senior managers of the company have clearly communicated a future direction

Plans are already in motion to take action from the 2021 survey results which aim to maintain and build on our excellent results. It is not a time to sit back, but to work harder.

Catriona Mackay Miller, HR Business Partner said:

“WorkBuzz have been incredibly helpful throughout the transformation of our employee listening strategy. The flexibility of the platform and their valuable insights have allowed Arbuthnot Latham to grasp what is important to our employees and use this information to drive initiatives to improve employee experience – which in turn makes my job much easier.”

Andrew Dagger, Group HR Director added:

“My remit when joining Arbuthnot Latham was to deep-dive into the HR challenges and develop a long-term strategy on how to address them. The WorkBuzz platform has allowed us to achieve this by providing actionable insights that tell the full story of what is detracting from a positive employee experience. The benchmarking functionality has also been well-received by our senior management team and is used as a driver for improvement. There will always be more that can be done, but I’m delighted with the 2021 engagement survey results as they demonstrate positive progress for the business.”
