Katie Day

Senior Commercial Banking Executive

Katie has been a Real Estate Finance Team member since July 2022. Prior to joining, she held various account management roles supporting commercial banking clients at a competitor bank after successfully completing an internship.

Katie’s personal pursuits and passions

Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, often exploring new food spots and visiting new places on the weekends. She has recently developed a passion for running and is preparing to take on a half marathon in Manchester later this year. Katie also loves to travel and, after visiting Sri Lanka in early 2024, plans to cross a few more countries off her bucket list.

 

Carla Dujon

Carla joined Arbuthnot Latham in June 2022. She brings four and a half years of banking experience from one of the UK’s high-street banks, where she held various client support roles for commercial clients, most recently relationship manager of a portfolio of SMEs.

Carla’s personal pursuits and passions

In her free time, Carla is dedicated to teaching dance to children on weekends, including ballet, tap, contemporary, and jazz. She enjoys reading, setting herself an annual goal of 20 books. Carla also has a passion for travelling, having recently visited Milan and planning a trip to Greece next. Additionally, she is an enthusiastic foodie who loves to cook.

 

Gareth Daniel

Gareth joined Arbuthnot Latham in 2017. He is based in our Manchester office and has extensive experience working with commercial clients and intermediaries.

Gareth’s personal pursuits and passions

Gareth's main loves are music and sport. He runs his own choir in Sale, Cheshire, raising money for various local charities, and is also match announcer and social media director at Sale FC Rugby Club, following both the men's and women's teams the length and breadth of the country.

 

Jake Brassey

Jake joined Arbuthnot Latham in August 2022, starting in the portfolio control team, monitoring covenants across the commercial and private banking teams. While completing his degree, Jake interned at a leading London-based hedge fund and private equity house.

Jake’s personal pursuits and passions

Jake is a football fanatic, playing in a Sunday League team with friends. He is an avid runner, having completed his first half marathon at Finsbury Park last summer and planning to run his second at Battersea Park later this year. Jake is also dedicated to learning and tutoring French. He is currently pursuing the Associate Chartered Banker Diploma, having already passed the Professional Banker Certificate and Diploma levels. In addition, Jake loves travelling and plans to interrail through Spain and France with friends later this year.

 

Jaya Malhotra

Jaya joined Arbuthnot Latham in February 2024. She brings extensive experience specialising in credit administration and processes from pre-drawdown through post completion for real estate financing and commercial lending.

Her passions include travelling, reading, and exploring different cuisines. She loves making memories with friends and family. Currently, she is focusing on her long-held desire to pursue sketching.

 

Nathalie Manser

Nathalie joined Arbuthnot Latham in January 2022. Before joining, she worked in account administration and support for one of the world’s largest independent insurance brokerages and at a boutique stockbroking house.

Nathalie’s personal pursuits and passions

Outside of work, Nathalie enjoys cycling, running, and exploring quiet corners of London for dinners with friends and family. She is passionate about politics and current affairs, with a background in international relations. Nathalie loves to travel and plans to visit India next year.

 

Nayan Yadav

Nayan enjoys motorsport, golf, travelling, and exploring nature. He finds excitement in the thrill of the racetrack, the challenge of the golf course, and the beauty of the great outdoors.

 

Serena Rahim-Shah

Serena joined Arbuthnot Latham in June 2021. She transitioned to commercial banking after working in our private banking business, supporting HNW clients in 2022.

Serena’s personal pursuits and passions

Serena plays tennis matches and is an LTA assistant tennis coach, coaching children aged 2 to 16 on weekends. She loves running and watching tennis, cricket, and football with her friends. Besides sports, Serena has a passion for fine art and history, often spending time painting and drawing. She enjoys visiting the Courtauld Gallery.
