Welcome
This area is for software developers who wish to connect to Arbuthnot Latham’s Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). These APIs will let you integrate Open Banking functionality into your applications.
Our APIs have been developed so that they meet the Open Banking Read/Write API specifications, see https://www.openbanking.org.uk. To use these APIs you need to be an approved Account Information Service Provider (AISP), a Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP), or a Card Based Payment Instrument Issuer (CBPII). Customer authentication takes place with Arbuthnot Latham (redirection method).
Access to the APIs is limited to approved/authorised AISPs, PISPs and CBPIIs, or those in the process of becoming authorised.
Approval and authorisation is managed by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK (FCA, see https://www.fca.org.uk/) and other relevant competent authorities across the EU. All Third Party Providers must be registered and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or their relevant National Competent Authority before enrolling on the Open Banking Directory.

The email should contain the following information:
- Your Full Name
- Your Company Name
- Name of TPP registered with Open Banking
- National Competent Authority Firm Reference Number
- Services Requested: AISP only; PISP only; CBPII only; AISP & PISP; AISP & CBPII; PISP & CBPII; or AISP & PISP & CBPII.
