A night to remember: My experience at the Asian Business Awards

Recently, I had the privilege of attending the prestigious Asian Business Awards as a representative of Arbuthnot Latham, alongside my colleagues Justin Snoxell, Ross Mitchell, and Rahul Gohil. The event brought together industry leaders, rising stars, and seasoned entrepreneurs – all gathered to celebrate the incredible contributions of the Asian business community. It was an evening of pride, connection, and inspiration, made even more special by hosting some of our valued clients.
A celebration of success and resilience
The atmosphere at the Asian Business Awards was electric — a perfect mix of elegance and entrepreneurial energy. The diversity of talent in the room was inspiring, with every guest bringing their own story of ambition, creativity, and resilience
One standout moment was the engaging Q&A session between Nihal Arthanayake and Nish Kankiwala. Their conversation balanced humour and insight, touching on leadership, perseverance, and the evolving role of Asian businesses in a global economy. It left the audience inspired and motivated.
Another highlight was the heartfelt speeches from the award winners. Each story reflected hard work, innovation, and the drive to overcome challenges. It was a powerful reminder that every success has a journey behind it, often defined by resilience and determination.

The event also provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs shaping their industries. Conversations with individuals like Surinder Arora, Lavanya Gamsani, and Nikhil Shah, a young entrepreneur revolutionising the tech space, were particularly memorable.
Hosting clients throughout the evening added an extra layer of significance. Sharing their excitement and hearing more about their ambitions gave us a deeper understanding of their journeys and how we can continue to support them. These moments of connection underscored the value of building meaningful relationships beyond transactions.
