Arbuthnot Commercial ABL supports growth plan for decontamination and hygiene chemical production company
Arbuthnot Commercial ABL has delivered a comprehensive funding package for a growth investment deal, supporting Alinea and strategic investor Richard Hale’s investment into Serchem, a decontamination and hygiene chemical producer.
The flexible asset-based lending package comprised a revolving receivables facility to fund ongoing working capital to support future growth, together with property and cash flow term loans to generate additional headroom.
Established in 1981, Serchem produces decontamination and hygiene chemicals for the healthcare and facilities management industries in the UK and internationally.
Arbuthnot Commercial ABL will work closely with management and the investor team as they support Serchem through its next phase of growth. The current shareholders, Alison Arnold, Commercial Director, and Andrew Arnold, Technical Director, remain involved and committed to the long-term growth of the company. Richard Hale, the former CEO of Deritend Industries Limited, joins the business as an integral part of the investment team.
