Meet the Team
Eren Osman
Managing Director, Head of Investment Management
Eren joined Arbuthnot Latham in 2012. As Head of Investment Management, he chairs the Investment Committee and supports research efforts across all major asset classes.
Eren has provided investment management services to private clients since 2003. With a passion for financial markets and investment research, he encourages an innovative and open-minded approach to portfolio management to best achieve our client objectives. He holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Between 2014 to 2020, Eren served as an external adviser to the Investment Committee for The Dunhill Medical Trust, a large grant making UK charity, and from 2020 has held a Trustee role with Dunhill.
Outside of work he enjoys photography, cooking, climbing, skiing and all outdoor pursuits, spending much of his spare time in the Scottish Highlands.

Peter Doherty
Head of Investment Research
As Head of Research, Peter is part of the senior tactical asset allocation committee at Arbuthnot Latham, and supports research efforts across all major asset classes. Peter has particular expertise in alternative assets.
He started his career in financial services with Aviva in 2007, following a degree in Genetics from Leeds University. He completed the Diploma in Financial Planning and Investment Management Certificate since entering the industry and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

David Michael
Senior Investment Manager
David joined Arbuthnot Latham in 2023 as a Senior Investment Manger for Intermediaries.
Having started out his career in Corporate Banking with HSBC, David’s focus quickly turned to Investment Management (IM) and private clients. Over the past 13 years he has focused on all elements of IM (Relationship Management, Portfolio Management & Investment Selection) for high net worth individuals. This has taken him from Private Banking to Insurance businesses. Most recently, he spent over five years at Mercer Private Wealth which involved providing a suite of investment management solutions to their Wealth Manager’s clients.
David is a Chartered Wealth Manager and an active member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI).
In his spear time, David enjoys cycling, watching sports and improving his BBQing game, which helps to balance out the bike rides!
